Happy new year, y'all.

Another one of my great aunt here whose presence was missed throughout our first Christmas without her. I printed this photo of her for my grandmother, and neither she nor anyone had ever seen it before and no one know how it's digitized version came into my possession which I found eerily magical. Furthermore, no one in my family was able to identify the subjects in the other image of this double exposure. I'm living for this one.

A pause in my image sequence for my nonie who died one week ago (September 13th) after a short yet painfully concentrated battle with cancer at age 63; sweet, charismatic and funny as hell. A master of pessimistic one-liners, her raspy voice resonates in my memory and she holds a sore and tender place in my heart.
